MIA and Stone World Announce 2013 Stone Industry Education Dates
Marble Institute of America and Stone World magazine have announced the dates and locations for their 2013 education series.
The year 2013 will be the 4th that the two longtime industry allies have partnered on this mutually successful endeavor. The program will feature installer and fabricator-oriented seminars, all including a networking reception to complete the program.
The MIA/Stone World Stone Industry Education Series offers a new format, focusing on topics that the attendees want to learn about. Moderated by an industry veteran speaker and led by a panel of fabricators willing to share their knowledge and experiences to improve and benefit the entire industry, this interactive approach has been a huge success at our events this year.
The “town hall” forum style allows for networking with peers and sharing of ideas, often including tips that can improve efficiency and provide growth opportunities for all fabrication shops, large and small, new and established.
MIA Education Manager, Aaron Dahnke said, “education is the lifeblood of any strong industry and the stone industry is no different. We are honored to again be partnering with Stone World on this important endeavor. Neither one of our organizations would find the success alone that we do as a team.”
Alex Bachrach of Stone World added, “we are delighted to again be taking our education series on the road with the MIA. The “town hall” format that we developed in 2012 creates great value for attendees by tailoring the message and discussion of each event to the particular people in attendance. It is a dynamic program.”
