Laser Products Expands Workforce and Facility
Laser Products has announced a workforce and facility expansion in response to continuous and rapid growth of its laser products.
The manufacturing facility has been expanded to include over 12,000 square feet of production space at the company’s headquarter building in Romeoville, Illinois. One new hire, Ken Pohlman has increased the company’s assembly capacity and will report to Matt Flake, Production Manager.
The marketing department of Laser Products has tripled with the hiring of Alex Gay, marketing intern, Brittany Nichols, marketing coordinator and the retention of an outside graphics design company and a marketing communications firm. The department will work under the direction of Brian Stoiber, Director of Marketing.
“Expanding our production and marketing capabilities is a direct result of 20 percent year over year growth over the last three years,” said Rich Katzmann, executive vice president of sales and marketing. “Our focus is to continuously develop new products and services that make business operations easier and more profitable for our customers. We are ramping up now because we have new products and new partnerships in the pipeline for next year, that will do exactly that.”
Founded in 1994, Laser Products manufactures laser measuring equipment for the countertop, cabinet, and construction industries. They have sold over 5,000 lasers in 35 countries to more than 2,600 companies and are used by both the world’s leading automated fabricators as well as smaller, manual shops. Based in Romeoville, Illinois, the company’s products are made in the USA with some foreign parts.
