What’s the most impulsive thing you’ve ever done? Have you ever been desperate for alcohol? Combine the two and you have a recipe for trouble.

One guy in Georgia needed a bit more than a six-pack, resulting in a lamebrained attempt to hijack an entire semi of Coors Light. The driver had left it running and unattended when entering a gas station, only to see it moving away. After all, who’s going to steal a beer delivery truck? A really thirsty guy with a serious lack of judgment, that’s who.

The culprit, 55-year-old Gregory Miller, drove the truck as far as a nearby Bojangles restaurant, when he noticed police were in pursuit. He jumped out of the semi-truck, attempting to elude police, without putting the truck in park. Bad move, Greg. The truck kept moving…right over his leg. He was trapped under the wheel and  captured at the scene.

Miller was taken to Midtown Medical Center and admitted in unsatisfactory condition with a severe ankle injury.

Hopefully, his jail cell will be warmer than a truck-full of Coors Light in the winter.

Upon his release from the hospital, police say he will likely face several charges, including theft and eluding police.
