Coverings 2011 is on the move in more ways than one. In addition to the new venue and location, The Sands Expo and Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, the annual international tile and stone show also has moved its schedule up from past years, beginning on Monday, March 14 through Thursday, March 17.
Due to the earlier start, attendee registration is now open on Coverings' website: www.coverings.com.
Though these are major changes for the 22year-old industry fixture, one thing remains constant: Registration is free and includes a global exhibit hall with more than 1000 exhibitors from 50+ countries featuring their newest products and trends. Also free, and consistently a draw, is the valuable professional development, conference and training opportunities that will be offered, most yielding CEU credits and featuring industry leaders.
"We're already feeling the incredibly strong pull that Las Vegas has, with exhibitor space filling up briskly," said Jennifer Hoff, president of events for National Trade Productions, which manages and produces Coverings. "So, we wanted to give attendees a chance to get the date on their calendar now and make their travel plans. This year, registration is open a full month ahead of when we would normally start it."
Once registered, Coverings sends regular updates on events, conference sessions and speakers, information on contests, giveaways and other special events. Online registration lets you directly reserve a hotel choice from among those participating with Coverings' package offers. The lineup of hotel partners includes The Venetian, The Palazzo and Harrah's, to satisfy a range of budgets.
