Northern Engineering and Manufacturing, Inc. (NEMI) is introducing their 2011 NEMI Product Catalog featuring new vacuum fixturing added to their existing line.
Northern Engineering and Manufacturing, Inc. got its start when owner Brian Akre came up with the idea for a digitizer. Today, NEMI has a 15,000square foot, completely computerized facility in Zimmerman, Minnesota, where they manufacture all types of products for CNC machines in a variety of industries including metal, wood, plastic and solid surfaces.
For over 17 years NEMI has been manufacturing digitizers, tool setters, vacuum pods, vacuum tables, vacuum fixtures and software. We strive to manufacture the most quality, user-friendly products for CNC machines.
NEMI specializes in custom vacuum fixtures. They can work with customers and build from their drawings, or design and manufacture a complete solution. NEMI has 30-plus years of experience manufacturing and designing custom fixtures.
The NEMI Digitizer product line has grown! They offer the DigiCoder which is the complete solution for customer digital templating needs. This machine allows customers to trace parts and patterns with a probe, and then automatically generate the geometry for that form in several file formats including DXF.
Then there is the R2DIGI2, which is a portable digitizer. This product allows customers to trace parts and patterns with a probe and automatically generate the geometry for that form. Once you have finished digitizing, just email the data back to the shop!
